Thanks to everybody who commented and clicked on 'Shield Reef Sunset', much appreciated as always.
Tonight's was taken in January at Robin Hood's Bay on the North Yorkshire Coast. Steve (steviehutch) and I had arrived just minutes before sunrise after a treacherous journey along ice covered roads. This is one of my first shots of the morning as the sun lit the clouds but had not yet risen above Ravenscar to light the cliffs and then, mere moments later, the beach. Once the beach is in sunlight, you lose the beautiful light reflecting off of the cloud onto the wet sand which I particularly like in this one. I also liked the way the cloud shape fitted the frame so nicely. As always, I love to read your comments, good or bad and thank you for dropping by.
Have a great evening, I'm off to umpire a cricket match and will catch up later.
