Firstly a Huge thanks to everyone for your time to view and for your wonderful comments on my previous images they are very much appreciated. And a special thanks to Lin,(sweetpea62) for her award. This was another photograph from a few weeks ago on my last trip North, early morning once again 7-15am and still very dark, with the longer exposure of 4sec I was trying to reduce the small ripples in the water . Still very cold at -3dgs with some ice forming at the edge of the Loch. Bill.

Cold and very still Bill, the warmth in the light is soaked up by the mountains and moor, which has stood in the freezing conditions for so many millions of years.

The coldness just seeps off my screen looking at this, Bill: I am always amazed at what the sensors can pick up whilst still dark.
