Probably my only contribution to the Snowdrop season.
Even if it's the only one, a splendid shot it is, Albert, an excellent macro of this harbinger of spring.
A fine composition , beautifully portrayed Albert. We have snow . Don't think it will last long xx
Mine have survived the snow, storms and winds but I have only managed 'soggy' shots!!!
Great composition and detail.
Well isolated and good details Albert
That's one more than me, Albert, we don't have them here . It's a beauty, too, well presented. Carol
One more contribution than mine, then, Albert.
Race you to the least when the bluebells appear?!?!?!
I've got a bunch of them growing in my garden, but they are to close to the ground and I have to lie down to get a decent shot, so I could only get one from above. This is very nice, I don't know how did you manage to take this shot. Beautiful capture!
It's not the lying down it's the getting up afterwards...
This is so lovely Albert !! Your snowdrops look different to what we have here !
A sharp image,i really like this,
I'm sure we've got some somewhere, they're just afraid to come out at the moment!! Lovely single bloom, Albert.
Like the detail captured Albert, lovely shot,
If we had any they would be covered in snow.................again
A cracker Albert.
I wonder if mine are up yet, at home. They will probably be gone when we return. A well captured one Albert.......Sandy
At least you have one Albert - mine are struggling to get above ground! A lovely close up.
If you only get one, doubt you could beat this image anyway! Wonderful dof and details.
Excellent. Great detail and colour.
Beautifully taken. Ann.
One's enough for me, Albert, it's a beautiful sign of things to come.
Luv the composition and colours, Albert, simple but so so effective, luv the complimentary background.
A delicate flower that I love to see every year,a sign that Spring is on the way hopefully.
A Gorgeous imagewith lovely bg
One swallow doesn't make a summer, Albert!
Many thanks to everyone who have looked, voted and commented, and particularly to Netta for her User Award.
Sorry about only clicking recently - a close friend just lost her mother - time occupied elsewhere.
I was on Skype with my mother this AM, and she was bemoaning that she had not seen a snowdrop yet - she loves to see those when spring starts.
This is a good close-up with the detail on the center being particularly nice, and the dof is excellent too.
A stunning image with some fine detail and a good dof
they are very early! and no, I don't miss them here.
Many thanks, once again, to everyone who have looked, voted and commented.
Nice one Albert, none of ours are out yet, nicely presented like it, regards Leon.
A splendid specimen which you have isolated and photographed so beautifully
