One of my favourite hiking destinations Smile When I was a school teacher I took groups of children on a four day hike through it every July Holiday.

An impressive canyon system, very well captured in this wide expansive landscape shot, Herman.
A visual delight at every turn on the four day hike.
Ronnie.

Just like the Grand Canyon give or take a few million years Grin

Fantastic shot. Was the time on your camera right? It doesn't look like a mid - late morning shot to me. Even for mid-winter I would have thought the sun would be higher overhead.

Of course that is the only sane time of the year to visit Fish River.

*thumbs up*

That is a pretty good shot for someone who doesn't use Photoshop. Good colours and a great view.

I'm afraid I can't vote as I do not agree with the voting system on EPZ, but please don't take that as a rejection. I do like your shot

quite a capture Herman no wonder you liked to hike here lots of fine detail
