Back to normal, now that the Elvis Competition has ended. And back to my FishEye series.

While I was playing with my fisheye lens in the German museum that I told you about in the description of my first photo in this series, I noticed some workers reparing the transparent roof.

Since there was rather harsh sunlight at the time, this created interesting silhouettes on a roof that had an interesting pattern anyway. So I couldn't resist shooting that combination. And here's the best one of the shots I took.

The specks you can see here and there are simply dirt that had gathered on the plexiglass panes of the roof - it's not noise, and also not dirt on my sensor or lens!

Mods and comments are welcome!

Thanks for looking,

Conrad

Stark, graphic image... This works really well and has a slightly disturbing feeling. I suggest you clone out the slight bits of noise top right...

Thanks, both.

Julian - It's not noise, as I said above: it's dirt on the roof. But I'll consider cloning it out anyway - I always find it difficult to find a balance between beautiful and realistic images. Thanks for your suggestion.

Yay Conrad! Didn't know you were into posting 'dirty pictures!'.

This is fab. I saw this and thought YES! Now this is definitely good use of that 16mm fish-eye you've got. Cracked it! Fabulous!

Best wishes, Simon

Ha, ha, Theo, it took me a moment to get that one! (I'm the kind who has "adult" turned off in his profile, so "dirty pictures" had me baffled for just a moment. And then I got it.) Wink

Thanks, that's quite the compliment from someone like you. I appreciate it!

Superb - most unusual yet again and seems to complement the museum well.

Love this picture with its strong diagonal lines and the silhouette of the man is an added point of interest. Makes you wonder what he is doing or about to do.
