The sculpture of an angler and his rod & line (and the inevitable lamp-post) casts its shadow across a small square near Southampton Civic Centre.
A Saturday Shadow for Mick.

Looks an interesting sculpture. A striking juxtaposition of shadows, and a shot that would be so easy to get wrong. Obviously, of course, you didn't get it wrong.

Complex and fascinating shadows, and what the Victorians would have described as 'a well turned ankle' too.

Would be very intriguing shadow shot, if not explained, Bill. Great timing for the bonus that walks on and along.
P.S. Thank you for the great comment, much appreciated.

One that got away. Just a few feet to the left and he'd have caught her. Smile

Great observational awareness. Very original. My only irritation with this great photography are the 3 things which look like grave stones in top right. I'd be tempted to photoshop them out as I find them a little bit distracting.

There's always someone walking across the shot when trying to take it Bill Wink
