North Landing, Flamborough.
Taken yesterday evening. This is my first ever attempt at HDR and is a merge of 3 images so please tell me what you think. good or bad - I can take it! Is it too much?
I have just treated myself to the Nik Effects complete collection so have some serious work to do to get to grips with it.
Thanks for looking
Jason

v2 is minus the dust spots and with a little less noise in the sky - thank you Martin.

The overall look is pretty good, but when I look closely it shows a few bad points. Firstly, there are dust spots showing, nothing to do with HDR, but need removing. The sky is quite noisy and the green hillside just under the bright bit of sky lacks contrast. I have never done HDR so can't advise any solutions, but a good effort and the comp works well Wink

It doesn't have an HDR look about it which is exactly what you want to achieve.
The boat has come up very well bringing out all the colour.
Looking forward to seeing what you produce with your new software.
Have fun.

Not tried HDR so not really able to offer advice, Jason. I do like the compostion and image overall, though. v2 looks like it has been denoised and lost a bit too much detail.

I have never done HDR so can't comment Jason, I do know a good comp when I see it, and this is very good,

Great composition Jason, and the HDR has worked fine. To be honest I wouldn't have noticed the dust spots...........

Great Scot what a good shot! I know nothing about photography! so I can not play god with your photo! I can only say as a photo of a boat on a coastline, it appeals to me no longer having a boat myself, fond memories and this is what I miss, thank you! regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
