The Camargue is a fascinating location and we were right next to Vaccares ( salt water pans ) and Flamingo's. They were so skittish, but on the foggy morning I managed to get somewhat nearer than before. Superb conditions for me !!!

Always great to see these birds. We had a very bad freeze last February and many became frozen in the shallows of the Etang de Bages and had to be rescued. You did well as they are quite difficult to get in close.

Again it's the lack of horizon that appeals, land melts into mist; plus the delicate, minimal palette.

A beautiful image Ron, one which is so beautifully composed. The misty air providing a rather magical and mystical feel.

Really like the colour contrast and the 'clean' misty background Ron.
