"I thought flax was blue", I hear you cry. Well Flax flowers late and this is at the budding stage. But you can bet I will be looking out for those little flowers making an appearance.

A different crop all together Derek and still looks great under that dramatic sky. Nice composition with the track leading through the field.

Derek you seem to have got the knack of turning the ordinary into the extraordinary.

The trees certainly give a Tuscan look, but not the sky maybeTongue. The lighting is excellent, Derek. The image is nicely composed on the thirds and the horizontal aspect is balanced by the path leading up through the field.

The light is lovely and (like others) I thought this had a Tuscan look to it with the little line of trees on the horizon. Your compositions are always so carefully thought out, and this one is no exception. Beautifully done Derek.

I'd love to be walking along this path. The colour of the flax seed heads contrasts beautifully with the threatening sky and I love the trees on the horizon. Great composition Derek!

Beautifully composed Derek. Love the line of trees dotted on the horizon, dramatic sky and eye journey through the path in the soft yellow Flax.
