Took this a little while ago at our Local Nature Reserve. This is the entrance to the hive , which is kept indoors in a glass case. The fella who runs it did warn me to bee careful as he thought they were getting ready to swarm. Not the best shot i've ever taken but i quite like in none the less.

All C&Cs welcome

Thanks for looking

I guess you were keeping your distance with the 300mm. It restricted your dof a little but some good action going on, Den. Like the flier at the top as well.

Love the soloist coming in to land.
The bee population has suffered badly this 'summer'; this is a timely reminder for the thinking population.
