Flotsam on the shore line

This photo was taken during a day's wandering along the Minho coast of northern Portugal which forms the border between Portugal and Spain (Galiçia). The beach at the mouth of the River Minho was littered with bleached flotsam and jetsam, resulting in an almost monochrome effect against the sand under a relatively strong sun. The only strong colour was from this orange rind and washed up plastic.
