Very nice indeed. It might be interesting to boost the contrast or airbrush the backround out.

I am not sure what kind of flower head this is but perhaps a square format for a kick-off would remove a lot of the redundant background and aslo allow you to have the stalk entering the frame from a corner.

The smaller head I feel would have been better bent out of the way and also a lighter background as this to me is too dark.

Finally I would have preferred to have seen a lot more sharpness and a greater depth of field. I understand your problems but the f3.1 does not appear to ahve been adequate.

Frank

It's a good effort, Muhamad, but you have a lot of unnecessary background, and the flower seedhead is not sharp.
The sharpest part of the flower is the stalk, and so I feel you need to set a single focus point on the centre of the flower. Then, use a smaller aperture in order to get the whole of it in focus.
What you have achieved in photoscape doesn't look too bad, you have managed to darken the background and brighten the flower.
In my modification, using PaintshopPro and your original version under the modifications section, I cropped to a square format, placing the flower towards the top of the frame, then adjusted highlights/shadows to darken the background and brighten the flower, finishing with a small levels adjustment and selective sharpening.
Pamela.

@Sam: Thank you Sam, I have seen your pf, Wonderful image.

@Frank and Pam: I do not know the name, but it's wild flower and small. I use f3.1 because i want the background blur. I am dissapointed too why the seedhead is not sharp. I thing, I am wrong when focussing. Will try later with smaller aperture and a lighter background and a square format. thank you all and for the mod too, Smile
