A Lady in Lordington Lavender , well I'm back after a little break, due to family commitments, I will try and catch up on all the great shots I have missed.

I have been meaning to go to Lordington Lavender for years, but I always seem to miss the 4 days per year that they open.

Its a bit of a steep hill for my chair to go down - James makes a good anchor man, but well worth it.
They only open between 10-5 so daylight shots only, but the bright sun would dance across the field as it came out from behind the clouds.

Hope you like it.
Ann

Ann, this is one of the bext shots I have seen of lavender and I think this will do you well.

The horison looks like it needs a little levelling but if I am honest I dont even think you need the horizon, I would crop it?

Superb!

Very nice shot. The composition is well thought out and the lady just gives it that something extra making this a top shot IMHO.
I also think it works without the sky but like the original as well.
Well seen. (Which is the most important thing!)

Outstanding! Love the lines of Lavender running away into the distance and the beautiful touch of sunlight kissing the flowers! The figure, for me, is that extra special touch lifting this to a really special shot. Like the mod minus the sky, but rather like the composition you selected originally.

A fantastic composition using the converging lines with such lovely colour in the lavender. The person adds so much interest and works really well. I was actually just going to suggest the same crop as thevalleywalker's mod, I think it has so much impact without the sky.

Hi Ann - I'm so pleased I've come back to EPZ or I would have missed this absolute stunner! This image is just fantastic! I love the converging lines of the lavender disappearing into the distance and that beautiful touch of soft sunlight gently caressing the lavender. To me this image works equally well with or without the sky and the figure adds that little extra touch by providing a focal point. Now you have straightened the horizon I think it is perfect and I absolutely love it!! Barb
