Taken in Farigaig forest earlier this week. There aren't many of these in the Scottish Highlands but this one was very obligingly growing at the side of the path where I could get a reasonable viewpoint by lying on the ground. Camera resting on camera bag at 1/60 sec so I was pleased it was as sharp as this.

A tremendous image. I do hope that you managed to get up from the ground. I'm afraid I would be still lying there.

The crisp highlight on the left lifts the image and the colour is wonderful.

An excellent shot of the Fly Agaric, Phil: for the first time this year I found some of these in my local forest......what great subjects they make.
