Apparently, when photographing people and animals, you should focus on the eyes. If you can see 'em!
These cattle were in a field near Ullswater but they stayed well over to the opposite side so I couldn't get a decent shot. The farmer saw me and came over with a car-washing sponge still in its cellophane. He stood next to me and squeezed the sponge so that the cellophane crackled. The cows came straight over to us. I've never seen that on Ray Mears.
