Hi all.

Apologies for my extended absence - I have had a very turbulent year and just not been able to get any time to myself!!! The subject of this image being one of the reasons!!!

The image is of my 9wk old Son Logan's left foot and the ring that I bought myself while he was in intensive care to remind myself always to follow my mothers instict as I raise him.

Logan was born on 31st July 2010 three weeks early weighing 4lb 15oz and spent the first three weeks of his life in intensive care. It was discovered that he suffered a brain haemorrhage either just before or during his birth and this has left him with significant areas of damage. We don't know what the future holds for our little man but we cherish every day we have with him and are blessed that he is still with us and doing so well.

Best wishes and thankyou for thaking the time to look and read the story behind the image

Liz x

A wonderful image to sum up so many experiences and feelings. I hope you are able to hold on to that in the coming days
