This pink Land Rover was on the track when an elephant decided it would slow traffic to a crawl. African style go slow, dust and atmosphere.

Ah - I'm getting that Africa urge again.....
(only a few weeks for me now - Gorillas in Uganda, fortunately my wife is an animal fanatic and we're doing this for her 'big' birthday - but I'm definitely not complaining!!)

Nice work, Ron! Just a pity that the elephant doesn't stand out just a little bit more from its surroundings.... Not a biggie, though.

It really shows the dusty conditions and the atmosphere is almost palpable. I take it it was hot, and that the long sleeves are protection from sun and insects?
In Norway it's sheep, goats or cows that walk in the middle of roads - the end result is the same. Gives drivers a chance to look around and even to take a photo!
