Walking up the path to Curbar Edge after a heavy snowfall, I looked back to see the sun emerging from the low cloud. The footprints were of course mine.....and the coming and going of an ubiquitous dog walker! Smile

This is superb, Martin. Two remarkable images in one - that exceptional sky stands well on its own, and then you have that perfectly exposed landscape with just enough light to emphasize the granular texture of the snow. Oustanding.

The colour of the sky is softly reflected by the snow. The foreground and sky complement each other perfectly.

It's an absolutely perfect picture - technically and emotionally. It makes you want to be there, cold toes and all...

That must have taken some serious NDs Martin! Although I guess at least the snow helped lift the fg a bit for you.

Really like the feel of this one, nicely done. I haven't been in to the peaks with the camera for about 2 months now and these sort of shots keep reminding me why I should.
