Apologies to all those who voted on my Concrete Luggage but on reflection I felt that this was not a Sunday to be silly and have therefore deleted it and uploaded a simple picture of poppies.

I guess your comment makes me look rather stupid then, Albert Sad. Oh well, we can be silly on Sunday and still remember those who died fighting to save their countries. A simple, yet beautiful tribute, Albert, and I still liked your concrete suitcases Grin Carol

I had no intention of making anyone look stupid Carol but had to do what I felt was right the Concrete Luggage can wait for another day. Smile

Not only the lovely Poppies but the shapes and textures in the grasses make this a lovely image. A most suitable image of Remembrabce Sunday.

It is a dilemma that won't come around for a few more years, and I agree it seems best to upload an appropriate image SmileSmile

A beautifully detailed and fitting image Albert.
I am also sure that our dear departed would not have minded a little silliness either.

Today is Veteran's Day here in the US. A fitting image as a tribute to those who fought. Next year's poppies have started to sprout in my garden. They are amazing as they tolerate the cold and frost and then break out into glorious bloom.
