Good Evening All
My photo tonight is dedicated to Ronnie because he was interested to see a comparison to my upload last night from my iphone, and the "photosynch" panoranic app that I used, to a photo from a conventional camera. When I took the photo from my mobile yesterday, I also took this from my Lumix, standing in the same place at the same time, and I have to add that I have not done anything in photoshop on this shot, it is literally straight from my camera. Therefore comparison is true, and as yet I havn't found an app on my mobile for photoshop. In a way and for me, the difference is very clear, because with my Lumix I couldn't get the whole scene in....but this shot is so much better in my opinion!
Your thoughts would be very welcome, especially yours Ronnie ![]()

Uploading from a mobile is good, and the photosynth app is a really fun thing to play around with and I will continue to use it. Although I have to say that I was not really expecting any interest in the photo at all, so I am very appreciative of the votes and comments that I received ![]()
Have a great weekend everyone, and thank you so much for looking ![]()

Excellent Julie, beautiful reflections and beautifully taken..Lin
Whilst yesterday's image was excellent given how it was produced, there is no doubt this is the crisper and more detailed shot, Julie: I can enlarge this one a few times and the detail remains, whereas that was not possible with the last image.
So the Lumix still beats the iPhone for me.
Thanks for showing this version and for the mention, Julie.
Ronnie.
Thanks for all of the above comments..........Jenn I too think the difference in the 2 lens's are different, and my Lumix wins hands down, but the iphone does produce good images, and it was fun using the app
And Neil, I agree that the iphone can give excellent shots & good luck with iphone 5! To Ronnie, I know exactly what you are saying, this photo is so much better......... ![]()

P.S - Jenn, I will be checking out the snap seed app!! ![]()
Have passed on the info re the iphone app as I was greatly impressed by the result. This image, however, is crisp and clear and absolutely beautiful. No doubt which has the better quality, but that's not really what yesterday's was about, was it? It was quite amazing in its own right and would make for some great holiday images, capturing scenes you'd otherwise not manage in full.
