Self explanatory and taken in Cuba. v2 a square crop - not sure which I prefer.
Thanks for looking and for your time.
Many thanks to LynneJoyce for her UA for Daydreaming - it was very much appreciated.
Ann
PS - thanks to Trev for pointing out the lady in v1. I can't imagine how I missed her, except this image has been lurking on my hard drive for some time and I just overlooked her. Doh! ![]()

Beautiful colours and great textures on the wood Ann, I do prefer V2 as it crops out the half lady in the background. lots of these shacks in Cuba selling the juice for pence, I love the place,
Regards
Trev.
Looks a bit like a coconut shy! I like the rich colours. Unusual shot.
Two superb images fabulous colours and textures.

Oh crikey - I'd forgotten she was there. I processed this some time ago and it's been lurking on the hard drive! Thanks for pointing it out Trev - Eagle Eyes! ![]()
Ann
V1 a slight favourite Ann but excellent detail in both,
Fred.
Saw the lady, also thought 'coconut shy' and '10 green bottles' - that's the problem coming onto an image late
. Nothing left for me than to admire the texture and colours and state my preference for v2, Ann. Can't you just smell the pineapple when viewing this? ![]()
Dave
I agree with Herman, very unusual find Ann,wonderful textures, I prefer Vi but with a slight crop from the left side, that way you would not have the lady in the image and there would be 9 pineapples ,Just my preference for odd numbers, and I think a slightly better balance, just trying to help. Very well done, Bill.
Who needs fiction when real life turns up gems like this?
As a story V1 works best for me, it's that bit more bizarre. As a composition, V2 is stronger. But sometimes the story is more important!
Moira
PS The lady was the first detail that I noticed. And I like her. She's why V1 says more to me.
I'm trying to concoct a variant of "ten green bottles" and failing miserably ![]()
Each pineapple looks to have a different character. For example, I can imagine them with pipes and tankards, having a merry time.
I ought to watch out for the ten men in white coats . .. . .. . .. .
Regards
Bill
The sweetest of them all and it comes in that hard crinkly skin to keep you away. The men in white coats won't take Bill away while he's receiving such good care in the community.
V2 for me, the half woman doesn't bother me, it's the full size ones that scare the b'jeesus out of me.
Dougie
like v1 as there are more to eat great shot. christine![]()

My thoughts exactly!

...and I am even later and there is even less original for me to say
Would "I like it lots" suffice? No I thought not. Well in that case the third from the right is my favourite and gets my vote.![]()
Malc
I like the way you have taken this, with a lot of frame given to the base.
I fully understand why others want to knock them down, as it looks like a fairground attraction.
What makes it even more interesting is the different colours and sizes of the pineapples.
Both are very eye catching but I like the tight crop.
Rick
Great shot, it looks like a crowd sitting in the stands watching something.
Andy
Good shots v2 my fav nice tight crop. well spotted Ann
John
v2 for me.. can't explain really but i all fairness they are both very good.
and they make my mouth water!
