OK...I'm totally switching gears from my Native American theme tonight. I was cleaning out my dungeon this morning and I ran across this collection of old Nikon gear that has been sitting there for years and years. I was supposed to be cleaning up, but I started playing around with this stuff on my desk and the next thing I knew many hours had passed, my dungeon was still a mess, but I ended up with a frame that captured a little bit of photo history.

I wish I knew more about this lot. To the best of my knowledge, it is from the late 60's or early 70's. If anyone can identify the vintage, please let me know.

I guess I'll finish cleaning up tomorrow.
Ty

Hi Ty excellent capture on this vintage equipment! Kind of puts things in perspective when you really think how far we have come in photography but bet dollar to donuts that those oldies can still take an excellent pic. Recently i inherited some old cameras from my late father in law and two are trully classics as one is an old 1932 kodak box and then an old circa 1950's wind up movie camera! Wonder how they did it without PC'S. Great nastalgic image Ty!

stay well and thanks always!

Hi Ty,You got some cool equipment there. You use Nikon,do the lenses interchange with you new stuff.Usually it's the bodies that change but the lenses interchange. That is one brilliant shot, love the reflections, detail, lightin, exposure, the way you have the whole lot out including the tripod.Magic composition.Sorry i can't tell you the vintage.Take care.AnnSmile

Wow this takes me back, you can almost feel the quality!
Tony

I really like this shot. I love the way you've caught the light in the lenses and the lighting on the background. I can't help you with the model sorry.

I have just one niggle with the whole shot... there appears to be a few marks or smudges on the camera body just around the "F" and "Nikon" below the hotshoe. If they couldn't be physically cleaned off I'd be tempted to PS them out. Just my opnion of course Smile
