another from the mini Masters of Light meeting. Smile

Met up with Mand and Chris, had a great few hours, and got a few good shots.

Here is my take on the painting with a bleeding big light.

Mand brought a huuuuuuge torch, so we played.

30 second exposure, f16, and we used the torch on half power to illuminate the foreground, and full power to get the lighthouse exposed.

Any and all comments are always welcome.

Thanks for looking.

Anthony

mmmm very creative my friend, you can tell by the sky the exposure was longer than the usual 4 seconds you need for a twilight shot. From the thumbnail I thought it was a sunrise! But I realise now it's just the lights from Bootle Docks or Seaforth or wherever it is?!

What was the power of the light, was it one of those 1million candle light torches? I've always wanted to try out one of those, especially on unlit buildings!

Andrew.

Hi guys, Mark reckons it's 15 million candle power. This may be wrong, I have no idea really. It's still in the boot so will have a look at some point Smile. Lovely shot btw. Til next time Grand Master! lol.

15 million !! Nah, I bet is 1.5 million. 15 million candle power would have melted the paint off the lighthouse.

See you soon my lady. Smile

That torch of Marks is a piffy little thing. What you want is a big torch - say 18,000,000 candle watt. Wink

I'm impressed it reached all the way to the lighthouse. Where do you even buy a torch like that? Not that I want one, just curious.
