Another one from South Queensferry last night. The long exposure (3 minutes) seemed to give a nice colour to the sea I thought.

What do you think?

Thanks for looking.

I think this is very well composed and you've left in only what's necessary to give impact to the image (IMO). The sea colour is like milky jade and the long exposure has accentuated that. Beautifully done.
Alan.

Alan has said it all, really. The graphic simplicity is what strikes me here, with three distinct bands of colour radiating out from an unseen point. The long exposure is absolutely necessary to enhance this effect and it all serves to emphasise the lines of this unique bridge. Very well seen and executed!

Yes, a very good image indeed. Well exposed and 3-minutes has not only given you a great colour in the water, but it's lovely and smooth too. It might have benefitted from a slightly lower tripod to increase the f/ground band and reduce the middle though. Also, the horizon is very slightly tilted from left to right and the receeding bridge gives an optical illusion that the horizon is even more tilted that it actually is.
