Good effort! I like how the lights have created the dagger like reflections on the water. I don't know what you could do with the composition. It doesn't look like an easy place to just move around. The bottom half of the image is interesting. Maybe try a panoramic? It caught my eye in the gallery so I guess it's done its job?

Very good comments, take away some of the top of the sky, letterbox format would look good, your name should not be on the print, if you need to do this put a frame around and put your name on the frame!

And your first effort is very good indeed. I have just 1 crit - the log - I too absolutely hate to see them. Yours is very insistant and almost the brightest highlight. There is really no need for logos on 600 pixel prints - and you are not advertising your services to us. Logos are for advertising or to protect copyright - i could clone yours out in seconds.

I think this is what everyone means!

I've nearly straightened the horizon but as the bridge isn't straight either, I've compromised so that they both look about right.
I've also cropped a bit from the top which has re-positioned the bridge about a third of the way up and I've cloned out the logo.
As others have said, there's no need at this size and resolution. (Says he, one of the worst offenders!)

Bren.
