This photo was taken along the Four Mile trail in Yosemite National Park just a few days ago. The Four Mile Trail is about a 4.5 mile hike from the valley floor(4000ft) in Yosemite to Glacier Point(7200ft). This is a difficult hike that gains a little over 3000 ft in elevation during the course of the hike. I was surly feeling the weight of my D2x by the time we reached Glacier Point. California is in the midst of a record drought so far this year. During a normal winter, this hiking trail is closed due to hazardous conditions resulting from snow and ice. I did enjoy this hike even though the worry of a severe drought was in the back of my mind.
I hope you enjoy the mono processing.
Thanks
BJ

Did Glacier Point but not the 4 mile hike when I was there back in September. Would love to go back and do it. Glacier Point is just amazing and you are very fortunate to have so many opportunities to go there.
