Morning Richard,
Sounds as if you are recovering well![]()
This is a peach of a shot - the stacking certainly paid off.
About an inch here at work this morning (Leicester).
Don't want anymore 'cus I want to see what my background looks like with a live subject. Tomorrow hopefully![]()

How do you do this? I can't get them to stay still for one shot let alone 5!
One of the best dragonfly shots I think I've seen recently in fact thinking about iy one of the best I've seen all year. The details are absolutely superb......Hope this goes well for you mate, it certainly deserves too.......Very well done and I very envious! ![]()

Get them early in the morning Lynne or just when they have emerged and are still pumping blood about to be ready for flight. This one came onto my hand and I carefully moved it to another perch. It needs to be chilly. They will sit for ages until the heat rises and then no chance as they are just interested in feeding and mating.
magnificent my good friend ! i too am stuck in my house due to the weather! take it is easy my friend love Steve
frustrating for you to be out of action but you will be pleased when you reap the benefits - awesome shot Richard
An outstanding image Richard, the detail and clarity is immaculate, hope to see you back in action soon, Ed
And yet another superb macro image....Well presented and pin sharp...Your 29th vote should get the 30 plus......Regards John
