Frost can also look miserable and grim but you have used the available light to perfection in both these fine abstract images. V1 works a little better due to the direction of the light which has brought out the contours of the wooden post.

These are two great macro photos !! Now I also know how frost looks from close up Smile We hardly ever see the stuff where we live !
