I prefer V1 but I think the flower is slightly too tightly positioned in the corner. I think a tiny bit more breathing space would have helped. V2 is a bit too central for me.

Both are sharp images though with wonderful colour reproduction and details. You deserve the vote!

Two beautiful shots of lovely blooms, Herman: it's always interesting to read others' comments and I feel the remarks made by 'alastairfarrugia' are well intentioned and certainly worth a consideration.
Composition of an image will always arouse debate but I feel I go along with his suggestions.

Oh the smell of Hawaii ! Impossible for me to tell which has the better flavour , the pink or the white!
The buds have a special interest in v1, v2 has the lovely colour contrast.

Without a doubt V1 is the winner for me Herman, just for its sheer beauty, as to its location within the frame, I agree with previous comments, but not as far as V2 is concerned, I guess we all see things slightly differently, maybe just as well!

I have only seen the yellow flowering ones in the south coastal region of the country. Both are well taken shots, they're so lovely!
