Another rework today, this one had a blue cast first time round but I have now mastered a little more of the software so hopefully I have been able to improve it. This was taken on the top of the old freezer, which was textured, hence the mottled background, now have a new one with a smooth top, so it will be interesting to see what the results are going to be using that. The hover fly was a freebie, it just flew in for a visit.

Hoping that the weather will warm up again soon, spring flowers are coming out in the garden but I hate the cold and don't fancy sitting on the ground to photograph them in these temperatures.

A very nice shot - would like to see it without the hover fly as it is distracting from the beauty of this shot rather than adding to it in terms of interest. The yellows and whites on a white bg are as has been said not easy but you have done a superb job here.

I want to use the word delicate too, soft and serene, lovely composition with a bit of texture in the background.
Glad to be back. I see you have been away from the site for a while, too. Pamela.

An excellent image. The insect wasn't needed. The flowers alone were a great composition. IB

A beautiful image of this flower group !....I love the 'hi-key' effect, with that nice splash of bright yellow, & I think the hover fly is a nice bonus which adds detail & scale to the shot.........though I suppose without the fly it's
another image in itself......so either version is valid, though I do prefer it with the fly !.......1st class !!
