Two very different images that hopefully live up to and illustrate the title.

V 1: a climbing rose (name unknown) in a neighbour's garden.
V 2: segment of a neighbouring (different neighbour) garage door showing signs of..........well, let's be charitable.......a degree of "weathering".

Details for V 1: see EXIF

My thanks to all who called upon "Solo Sweet Peas"........your input is so much appreciated.

Ronnie.

What a contrast Ronnie ! The rose is exquisitely captured, with detail, colours, and raindrops all beautifully rendered. V2 also has great detail, colour ,composition and texture; especially texture. I like it a lot, but think I'll leave Mick to come up with a definitive comment!

I am so envious of your roses-- ours are all feeling the lack of rain and ultra high temps!

What an excellent taste in decor your neighbour has Ronnie !!
And he has shown some TLC here.
A good example of Tender Lack of Care !!
Excellent shot.
(And not a bad flower shot either !!)

You've made good use again of Scotland's soft weather Ronnie, just adds a lift not that it neads it to this beautiful Rose, delicate pink and I can only imagine the fine aroma.
