Great how you received my friend's rusty shutters. And Senn is right, it was slightly OOF but it was the best crop&colour Smile

My shutter didn't get rusty and there is more to come.

Here is a special for Ronnie AG, he had a splendid DARK frilly tulip. Mine is almost white and it changes colour!! Here it is 10 days ago

and Last Year ( v2)

V2 for me as well. All three are very interesting -- I never heard of this flower.
However, it is the light and the bokeh that do it for me in V2.

Three fine tulip shots, Annette: love the delicate pink striping in V 1 and 3, with V 1 the tops for me, the frilly petal edges nicely echoed in the slightly ragged framing.
Very nice work all round.
Ronnie.

Good shots, and I do prefer the ones showing the candy stripes on them !!

The border and frilly tulip work well in v1, Annette. The texture looks almost material.

I believe these frilly ones are called Parrot Tulips in the UK. They are gorgeous and you have captured them beautifully.
