A wonderful image, Ed, super detail in both the butterfly and the scabious, and such a natural background. Carol

You really have the knack of capturing the butterflies down to a fine art, Ed. This is another beautiful example of your fine close-up work.

I wish I had an award to give for this one-- the butterfly and the flower stand out brilliantly, yet we see a normal environment as well-- very natural and exceptionsl!

You've captured this butterfly in an excellent postion Ed - feet showing, wings slightly up - excellent detail. I have a variety of fritillary that frequents my yard, a Gulf Fritillary, and it has the most wonderful silver on the undersides of its wings.
