A good mate of mine from work asked me to take a few shots of their new arrival Johnathan.
I always had this in mind for my new niece and her parents but with her living in Co,Sligo it hasn't happened yet.
Anyway I am glad that this went so well,
Have a look and see what you think,,
I was trying to portray the protection, love and support that a parent gives to their child, from this stage and all the trials and tribulations that will come their way,,
Thinking of you Aoife,
Dad,,
Thanks For Your Time And Interest In What I have Seen,
Aidan,,

Cracking image Aidan!
Not sure about the ripple effect though? .....saying that, it's a fantastic idea. Well Done.
A lovely shot, very emotional! Ditch the riple effect and perhaps apply a little soft focus and i think you would have a classic here! (but thats just my opinion!)
I love the original shot, and you've improved the light in V1. But I don't care for the manipulation, that looks like the teeth of a saw running along the top of the hands!
Moira
Like 1 the best cos there's no texture in the fabric which is a bit distracting. Don't mind the ripples-it's kind of different. Wonderful shot and such detail in the skin. The hands are well positioned (pose?). Like it a lot. Paul

Very much agree with this! Beautiful photo though. V2 is a little dark looking but could just be the laptop. Lovely moment to have captured and I hope the proud parents are delighted with it.

V3 all the way! Truly beautiful - an amazing shot, well done!

A very moving and original idea Aidan. V3 for me.
