A wall, a barbed wire fence - and then a gate in the distance. And all from the safety of a car. I like the idea.

That fence should never have been built on top of that wall, it should look completely incongruous yet somehow it works!
As you say, composition could be a problem and you've just missed the edge of the tree on the LHS.
I still like it though.

its a great idea, and your off to a good start. i had a simillar theme going once, when i was being driven i would snap at interesting things like castle coch in cardiff, i try to get that when on the m4 at 70mph.
