Grey drab day here in Glasgow this morning
A beautiful cornflower, Graham, what a rich colour, and very well presented. Carol
I would not have known what they were, only know they are beautiful and two stunners mate!

two belters... my favourite flower just for its colour
cant decide which I prefer so a half vote each
These are not the annual Cornflower which grows in meadows but the perennial form. Flowers twice per year, a real bonus and very much loved by Bees as well as humans!! Well captured.
Very colourful flower, well captured Graham.........Sandy

Up to your poaching again, Graham: but well worth the excursion next door, eh! Of the two, the vibrancy of V 2 really stands out for me.
Such clarity and vividness in these images, that shade of blue is electric. Really like V2 today though.
Two fine captures with good details and colours, V1 gets my vote today as the background works better.
