Hello people! A great big thankyou for all your votes and comments on yesterday's image "Needles Lighthouse" and your views on the spooky fisherman![]()
Todays image is of Whitecliff Bay in the IOW, Culver Down and Monument on the top of the cliff. This image is the bang opposite end of the Island to yesterdays image and the "make-up" of the cliffs facinate me as they seem to mirror Alum Bay with the chalk cliffs and even the sand cliffs here is coloured as it is at Alum Bay............. Anyway the title suggest that the Nab tower is in the image, well no it sits in the sea to the left of this image and out of shot, but I thought it quite appropiate............................ I have had my babble
Hope you like it....................... Just a thought but looks better before the upload to me
, hope it looks okay to you.

Excellent composition on this Diane, the green patches make interesting foreground interest, the one solitary figure give great scale, nice capture!
Regards
Trev.
I used to sail around that area alot in the 80's
Great to see the land versions..
Quote: Lovely view, Diane, and I really like the furry greens on the shore!
Ooo...by the way, yesterday I mentioned a marlin. It's a large gorgeous fish with a very pointy nose. And people like to hunt it for sport ![]()

Oh I see
What a shame, Cant see the point of fishing myself........... not for sport
............ if I is to accompany some chips that is a totally different kettle of fish![]()
Diane
I could just wander along that beach!
A super capture, Diane, of this delightful island ![]()

Hope you managed to stay upright, Diane and not go arris over pointy bits on that green slippery stuff in the foreground![]()
IOW - memories of a festival long before you were even born, I suspect. That was groovy baby, as we used to say back then![]()

Both these points are what struck me first as well, Diane. Love the depth you've got on this.
