...on the beach near Pollacher on South Uist. The weed was seemingly arranged delicately by the falling tide, but it still seemed to have life inside.

The light sprinkling of sand along it's length shows up the detail of it's structure very well: as Danny says, always look down, sometimes up too.
The silver sand too is the star of these images from the Western Isles, Dougie.

At first I thought it was another version of the car tracks Dougie, but this turned into a lovely, subtle natural abstract.
