The cold weather put pay to my early pink Camellias turning them rusty brown and not very attractive. However last week we had a frost (again) and the transformation was very interesting.

Thank you all for your comments and votes on my big cat images and a special thank you to Ann (EAS) for her UA, all very much apprpeciated.

Best wishes
Carole

Lovely frosted rims to the flower Carole. Shame it spoils the plant but it departs with an interesting image.

So sad that they are so vulnerable to adverse conditions, but there is still a remnant of beauty in this brown frosted bloom, Carole.

Always a major problem with Camellias that flower early in the year but at least yours decided to show it still had some remaining tricks! The frost not only destroyed, it also made the flower rather beautiful.

Ann
