Quote: Good subject. but the background is distracting.
I confess I am in two minds about the background: On one hand I guess it does draw the eye away, but actually I quite like the way that the soft frosty leaves in the background mirror the sharp leaves in the foreground. It was shot wide open, if I could have got it even softer then I wouldn't argue that the result would have been better. However, with the equipment I had available there really was nowhere to go...
