We had our first frost last week, and boy, was it cold 
. I braved it for a few minutes to take some images of the frozen verbascum outside my front gate, thought it made a rather pleasing abstract.

The ice crystals coating the vegetation makes for interesting close-up studies.......difficult to choose a favourite from V 1 to 3 so I am plumping for your tripytch in V 4, Carol.
We have had a few frosty nights this winter but so far many fewer than last winter.......now damp and windy again.

Could see V1 only, Pen drive modems are slow.Must be a great set. Oh dear , V3 is great with a bit ray of morning Sun.
Very nice shots. I particularly like V3 and the montage.
You've joined us in winter then! I'm torn between V1 and V3, I think I go for V1 (focus and exposure).

Rather like this here too last week, very chilly and frosty I didn't see any pretty images like these though whilst I was out in it! Rather like V3, and the triptych in V4

V4 is absolutely a magnificent set of images. Color and textures are amazing and certainly perfection.

Very nice Carol, excellent lighting and exposure, not many opportunities here for frost shots, mind you, difficult to imagine getting frost in Greece.

Hi Carol, it is really difficult to choose from this set of images but for me the V3 is the first among the set. fantastic images..

Quite surprised to see frosty images from you - somehow didn't think it gets that cold over your way - mind you we do get frost in SA, so I suppose a bit of a stupid assumption - ok finally to the shots - lovely frosty images and I'm still tossing the coin between V3 & V4 - whilst pondering the frost in your area - Ina
