Sparkly new upload options! Can I really upload more piccies???
Excitement aside, met up with Anthony last night at the ol' gal. I was chuffed to bits when the sun blasted through the cloud bank (easy pleased, I know).
The jpeg of this is way more blue. Might upload a variant of that later.

Great stuff, it's very different to your previous images of here. I like the angular feel given by the straight edge of the pool and the sea wall. It's different to the previous more 'organic' view points and gives the picture an immediate kind of energy with all the vectors slicing across the image. It makes it instantly attention grabbing!
If I had a constructive criticism it would be the top of the lighthouse is too dark for my taste and too dark to be a focal point. I wonder if either HDR or blending exposures would enable you to get around this.

thank you so much for your comments Al, particularly the crit. I have taken to a lazy filter that just screws on instead of using my Cokin system. I know this dark at the top doesn't please some others too. Must make more effort to get the Cokins out.
