What a gorgeous shot - his eyes are so beautiful.

I hope you don't mind me saying this, it is meant as helpful rather then being fussy. If you look carefully at the image, the far whiskers and eye are beautifully sharp - personally, I feel that it would have been an improvement to have the closer whiskers and eye sharp. The trouble with animals is they just won't stay still, perhaps he moved as you finished pushing the shutter, or perhaps you took the image this way on purpose (if so, and you are happy with it then it's perfect).

Yup! Karen has made a good point regarding the eye's, That said its still a sterling effort and well composed too....Grin

Don't worry about the eye thing though, Many of my kitty pics have had the same issue, Reasons, Well! Kitty don't pose much, They are always moving even ever so slightly, So you focus on the nearest eye, Then just as you fire the camera, The kitty moves a tiny fraction......Sad

Ways to help with this, Get yourself an assistant, A mum or dad, Auntie or uncle, A pal, Who ever is handy......Grin

Then get one of these things, Thomas's favourite toy, Or a piece of string, Then get your assistant to catch Thomas's attention and hold the string still, So he stares at it, This gives you a few precious seconds to compose and take your shot......Smile

It may not work every time, But it only needs to work once to catch that amazing shot your looking for.....!!!

Good luck & Keep up the good work......Wink
