This is photograph of a rather beautiful Red Admiral Butterfly was captured whilst out and about during the Summer, "Which if my memory serves me right was on a Tuesday this year?"
Thank you for all your wonderful 'V' and 'C's' following yesterdays upload 'Sodden Journey', and a big thank you goes out to Lillian for her most welcomed UA, for which I really appreciate.
I hope that you all have a great day ahead, me on the other hand is quite happy staying in the warm.
Regards Nathan

Good morning Nathan, what a fabulous shot, superb detail and colours, excellent dof. Staying inside certainly sounds like a good idea, dull over cast and threatening rain here :-(

This is really nice
You were so lucky to get one - I can count on one hand the number of butterflies I've seen on my flowers this year. ![]()

PS: I know what you mean about Penshaw Monument - once you see it, you know you are "home"!
"Which if my memory serves me right was on a Tuesday this year?"
Now that made me laugh out loud, wonderful sense of humour Nathan and you may be just right. I think it was a Tuesday but only in the afternoon.

You do right staying in, Nathan, I got rained on going to the doctors this morning! Blooming cold and windy too, even when the sun came out! ![]()

Great to find u active & running after butterflies.
Lovely day here and quite mild!
Superbly captured butterfly shot
I like your u usual POV, and we really had a ver very dry summer, hardly any crop in the garden. Now our landscape is only suitable for frogs and newts.
Just to make you jealous.. No there is no point, it is very frustrating to miss the summer.
