Full Steam Ahead.
Shot at the GWR Steam Gala 29/12/2010
Worth a quick look Large …………Loads of extra detail.
Exp 1/60th Sec
Sigma 18 – 200mm F3.5 / F5.6 @ 200mm
Many Thanks for the C & C’s on my previous upload.
Excellent Captur well dune
Nice atmospheric shot, great detail and composition, prefer V1.
I think a bit of cropping is needed to tidy the shot up a bit, the bridge support on the right could do with reducing, this would remove that hanging branch and waste ground, also would bring the engine into the right hand third of the frame. Also a bit of cloning to remove the concrete support, it looks out of place with that beautiful billowing smoke (difficult, but worth it), bricks would blend nicely. IMHO.
Thanks Stewart, appreciate the critique, will look at the right hand bridge support, not sure about the concrete support, I see what your saying, but I try and keep my shots natural and for me, unfortunatly thats how it was.
I like it just the way it is, I like natural too, we just have to move about a bit more to get the shot we want.
This is very well captures, I love it.
i like the effect with the smoke.
Great stuff, colour version for me
