Another from Cartmel races, this time without spectators.

This series was my first attempt at shooting horse racing. If anyone is interested, I found Cartmel an excellent place to have a go at this type of photography. The course is small, informal and there are many easily-reachable places with a good view of the track. For equipment, I took a 400mm prime and a 70-200mm, which seemed about right. Having had one attempt and gained a bit of experience and knowledge, I'm definitely heading back for another attempt. Would be a good place for an EPZ meet!

An image which seem to want to ride out onto my keyboard. Stunning quality throughout.
