The Spotted Flycatcher (Muscicapa striata) nestlings fledged today, between intermittent thunderstorms. This is the first to take the plunge and V2 was taken literally just before the baby launched itself out of the nest and landed on the greenhouse (not the most attractive of perches!). A couple of shots to follow but I don't want to bore you too much with these Wink This image is virtually full-frame - just a bit cropped off from the LHS.

My thanks to all who critiqued yesterdays upload and submitted excellent mods.

How wonderful that they made it to this stage - (just one day out with the prediction of fleging then Wink) Once again Sylvia thank you so much for the opportunity to capture these dedicated parents feeding their young - what a top photographic moment that was. Two great shots - Ina
