Lovely groups. Personally I think that I would have taken two separate pics of each group, but this works as well to create a wonderland you almost expect to see a brownie peeping out from behind.
the contrasting textures and colours are so delightful - autumn in a nutshell.
Awesome light and tones Ronnie, the composition is excellent bottom left corner to top right corner.
Regards
Trev.
Quote: I like the detail on these fungi and the mossy textures.

Not heard of ploutering before, and couldn't find it in my iPhone app dictionary, so thanks to WhiteRose1 for his explanation! ![]()
A fine capture Ronnie of these two family groups of fungi - with my bad back I don't think I could get low enough to photograph anything like this ![]()

They look good enough to eat Ronnie, but if they don't come from the shops where I do my ploutering, I'd be inclined to leave them alone despite the lovely colour.

Can't remember the last time I saw or heard that word (ploutering) Ronnie, but this was well discovered.
Do you know why the mushroom was always getting invited to parties? Because he was a fun guy
Sorry about that one...

Two grand groups, I like the way these are all clustered together. I must upload some of the ones I took at Crickley Hill Country Park in mid October in the not too distant future
