I spotted this rather tatty winged bumble bee enjoying the nectar from one of the lantana bushes in my garden this week.
Bank Holiday weekend for those of you in the UK, I do hope the weather is kind to you 
Don't know if it's just me, but ePZ is running at a snail's pace this morning, so I think I will have to take myself off to the beach for the day and hope that the speed has improved by the time I return to you all

What a gorgeous shot. He/she is fluffy!! And here in Wales am looking at thick mist out in the garden.

V1 the bees have done a grand job on my tomatoes this year i have hundreds as always carol fine detail in your macros both winners

Uploaded one myself today Carol, not half as good as these two, talking of beach I had my shirt off and people were complimenting me on my tan, had to explain it was not a tan but RUST!
This is about the worst Summer I can remember, had to turn on the heating last night.

Bright and sunny captures, Carol. I tend to keep off the roads on Aug bank holiday weekend - Yorkshire are playing in the T20 cricket finals, anyway.

He certainly is a furry little fellow and the colours and detail you've captured are fab. Epz has been very slow lately, although it is getting back to normality again now
