Something completely different this morning, was asked if i'd photograph an exhibition for 3 young ladies, at the Station in Richmond. Here are some of the results, this was made by Emma Fountain, and looks much better in reality. Found it a tricky thing to take as the felt just absorbs light. Any way think i've done ok will let you guys decide.

All C&Cs welcome

Thanks for looking

Works very well for me, too.
I had wondered where you had taken the mugshot of me, but the detail is different!

I nearly didn't open this because I thought it looked like a manipulation! I'm so glad I did open it, it's wonderful, and right up my street. How lucky for these ladies, first off, that they have someone photographing their exhibition sympathetically and creatively.
V1 is the star. You've caught the actual character of the work, in your own style, with a striking composition. Going in close avoids distractions, takes us straight in to the heart of the matter.
Incidentally I know how difficult wool is to photograph! I wonder if any of the exhibits included bright red wool? For some reason it always seems to present particular exposure difficulties, with all of our cameras!
I hope there are more to come.

V1 is great. It does make one think it's clever manipulation, especially on the eye, and then as realise real makes it very special.
Well done.
